| Welcome to newsletter No. 2 Hello everyone, Thanks for signing up for the newsletter. To enable me to streamline the distribution, please click the subscribe button. This edition is a little earlier than my expected fortnightly distribution to ensure you can access and apply for some excellent big company opportunities with companies like Disney, Bentley, and Unilever. Don’t hang around on these; apply early, make sure you have a high-quality tailored CV and (if applicable) a detailed cover letter. If you have a professional/creative portfolio, make sure it’s accessible in your documents (e.g., a digital link in your CV or cover letter). Good luck! David Colley, MIBT Employability Lead |

| Placement Ambassador Spotlight Evie Percival, Business & Marketing BA(Hons) Hi, I’m Evie Percival, and I’m currently in my final year studying Business and Marketing. As a Placement Ambassador, I’m happy to help anyone considering a placement, whether you need CV advice, guidance on completing applications, or insight into what a placement involves. I completed a 12-month placement at Frasers Group, working as a Digital Trading Assistant for House of Fraser. Frasers Group’s portfolio also includes well-known brands such as Sports Direct and FLANNELS. I would 100% recommend doing a placement! It gave me first-hand industry experience, helped me develop skills in analysis, reporting, and presenting, and enabled me to build valuable professional connections. As the year went on, I grew in confidence and realised I was capable of much more than I’d initially thought. I now feel much more prepared for my final year and future career. If you’re considering a placement, please get in touch! We also hold regular drop-in sessions where we can learn more about your goals and offer personalised advice to help you find the right opportunity. Student email: 23640499@stu.mmu.ac.uk |
