Welcome to Level 5!

What’s new for this year?
Congratulations on successfully completing your first year at Man Met. As you embark on your second year, you’re about to enter an exciting phase of your academic journey. The second year is often a time of growth, self-discovery, and increased responsibilities.
Before diving into your second year, take a moment to reflect on your experiences and achievements during your first year. Acknowledge your strengths and areas for improvement. Reflecting on your past will allow you to set realistic goals and make necessary adjustments to maximise your second-year experience.
In your second year, the academic level will intensify, and the work will be more in-depth with specialised course material. Attending all your lectures, seminars, and tutorials is important. Developing effective study habits, such as creating a study schedule, taking detailed notes, and asking questions is vital. Check out study skills resources and become more effective and smart in the way you study and learn.
Engaging in networking events and making connections with professionals can open doors to future internships, job opportunities, or mentorships. Make sure you are subscribed to the blog, our Instagram and LinkedIn group to be the first to see opportunities.
Embrace the academic challenges, engage in co-curricular activities, build professional networks, and prioritise your well-being. By stepping up and seizing the opportunities available to you, you will make the most of your second-year experience and set the stage for a rewarding degree outcome.
