Results: What to do next
Once you get your results via the online results portal, check this webpage for guidance about what to do next. There’s helpful advice for all outcomes, including information about what to do if you have failed and how to appeal your results here.
The postgraduate reassessment period runs 14 August to 18 September 2025.
For any coursework reassessments, please check the relevant unit area of Moodle for details on the reassessment task and submission dates. For any exam resits, information will be available on Moodle and in your exam timetable, you will receive a text and an email when this is published.
All coursework reassessment submission dates can be found via the ‘My Assessments’ block in Moodle.

Please keep up to date with your online results, Moodle and your exam timetable.
Further support can be found on Moodle in the student resource area which covers assessment advice and support and video guidance on how to apply for an evidenced extension. Self-certification is not available for any reassessments.
Accessing and Using Your Feedback
You should follow the same assignment brief and use the feedback provided from your first submission to improve your work. This feedback is a crucial tool for achieving success in your reassessments!
Feedback will generally be available to you via Moodle/Turnitin via the Assessments section (More details…) or the coursework area (pencil icon, highlighted in yellow in the images below):
Module Reassessment Support Sessions
Your module leaders are offering online reassessment support sessions throughout the reassessment period. This will offer you the opportunity to ask any assessment specific questions, and seek support from your module leader.
These sessions are via Microsoft Teams and more information is detailed below.
If you missed the opportunity to attend your module reassessment session/s, you can watch the video below for generic reassessment advice and guidance. It includes information about the support you can access for your reassessments.
If you are repeating without attendance, be sure to check assignment details with your Module Leader, as your brief may differ from the most recent one on Moodle.

There are lots of support elements that can help as you prepare for reassessments.
Academic and Study Skills
The Academic and Study Skills team offer support in several ways.
You can submit work for written feedback via their service here, with developmental feedback returned to you within four working days.
You can also book a 1:1 with an Academic and Study Skills tutor to discuss your work or a particular skill.
