By Frederick Fairman, Final Year Business and Marketing

These few weeks have allowed me to reflect on the Year overseas study I undertook in the amazing city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

It was an amazing experience, that I will cherish going forward in my studies and further experiences.

Looking back over all the lessons I learnt, not only concerning Business in a completely new Latin American context, but on my Personal Development are ones that I will take onwards into my stride.

Importantly, the time I spent studying Spanish at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) cemented my Spanish skills, ensured I integrated into the rich Argentine Culture, and digested these teachings with a competent understanding.

To add, the volunteering I was able to partake in with wonderful organisations such as TECHO and Viajero Hostels taught me invaluable lessons that could only be taught outside the classroom.

I can only thank the International Coordination Teams at The Manchester Metropolitan University Business School and Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires for facilitating this remarkable opportunity.

Good luck everyone on your final year of studies!
