On Monday 24 February, L6 International Business Management students attended a specialised dissertation support session.

With contributions from a variety of IBM lecturers, students were able to ask direct and crucial questions about how to approach different sections of the dissertation, as well as common queries about dissertation research and writing.

Students were also reminded of the key elements to expect within a dissertation, including the differences between types of literature reviews and how alternative approaches are needed for each.

The session was well-attended with many students commenting on how useful and reassuring the session was. The pizza on offer was also well-received.

Students were also reminded of the support elements they can access, including the Library and the Academic and Study Skills team.
