- Not sure where to start? Explore your options through the Careers Service’s dedicated page and check Prospects Job Profiles to research different roles you might be interested in
- Prepare yourself by checking through the Careers Service’s dedicated Placements page
- Attend the Get Placed events to get an insight into the placements process
- Start looking and applying now, most open from September to November (and some even close before November!)
- Check multiple sites and use different keywords for your searches (e.g., search for ‘placement year’ or ’12-month intern’) as companies have different names for the roles:
- Career Hub (filter by placements)
- Bright Network
- Rate My Placement
- LinkedIn (keyword search for placements or internships)
- Prospects
- Company websites (typically on early careers pages)
