
Barclays is partnering with the Data & Marketing Association on the Breakthrough Award for the second year in a row, and this time they’re looking for ideas to drive consideration for them as the go-to choice for student banking.
Successful candidates will make to a judging session on the 8 November and the Manchester Metropolitan Business School will host the day. Barclays management will join for the afternoon presentations, plus additional marketing professionals will be invited to come along and help finalise the presentations during the morning session.

How it works…
- Students can enter as an individual or in a team of two
- Students submit their big creative idea for the campaign (one side A4 pdf but can be visual, words, audio or film)
- Entry deadline is 27 October.
- We will host judging heats in Manchester on 8 November
- At each heat, students will get the chance to finalise their creative ideas in the morning and pitch to Barclays in the afternoon
- The winning team from each judging session is invited to pitch to Barclays in the “ Grand Final” on Tuesday 3 December in London
- All finalists will attend the awards ceremony that same night and the Grand Prix winner will be announced!
