The Placements team is running a series of events around campus over the next few weeks designed to support postgraduate students find a placement role by the 26 July deadline.

This series will guide you to search for and secure placements for the next academic year:

Drop-in sessions

Drop in and speak to one of the Placement Support team for help with:

  • Identifying placements or internships that are right for you.
  • CV or cover letter checking
  • Any questions or concerns related to placements and internships

Online skills sessions

Join online skills sessions with the Placements team which will cover:

  • Placement processes, approval and deadlines (all sessions)
  • Tailoring CVs and successful applications (session one)
  • How to find hidden placements and speculatively applying for placements (session two)
  • Your questions answered (session three)

Wednesday 17 April, 1pm – 2pm – CV and application support 

Thursday 2 May, 1pm – 2pm – Hidden placements and speculative applications

Tuesday 28 May, 1pm – 2pm – Recap your knowledge from earlier sessions and find answers to your remaining placement and internship questions
