We are offering an opportunity for a group of our Level 5 students (2nd Year) to attend the Hanze University Summer School in Groningen, Netherlands for three weeks, travelling on Saturday 25th May and returning on Saturday 15th June 2024.  This opportunity is fully funded by Manchester Metropolitan University.

​** We will pay for transport to and from the Netherlands, registration for the Summer School, plus meals and accommodation whilst you are there **

The theme of the Summer School is `Doing Business in Europe`.

The three weeks will involve working with other students from a variety of Universities across Europe, and also taking part in many social and cultural activities arranged by the University. Our students attended last year and loved their visit. It is a great opportunity for our students.

We are looking for students who can demonstrate that they:

  • Have good engagement and attendance at University, 
  • Have submitted their assignments this year (or can provide evidence of a reason why if not)
  • Are reliable, responsible and will be a good representative of Manchester Metropolitan University whilst overseas
  • Can provide a copy of their current passport showing an expiry date of at least 6 months clear (Expiry date later than 15th December 2024).
    (Due to the short timescale before flying, any visa requirements will need to be in place at time of application).

Successful applicants will be notified by email on Monday 15th April, by 3pm.
