The importance of mental health and well-being during exams cannot be overemphasised and I came up with a few ways to get through exam period:

·      Sleep well: Research suggests that having a healthy and consistent sleeping pattern is associated with higher grades and making a roughly 25% difference in students’ academic performance. It is important to get regular sleep, as this directly influences mood and emotions.

·      Make time for fun activities during exams: Make a study regimen that includes frequent 15- to 20-minute breaks. These breaks may be utilised to eat a healthy snack, go for a walk around, take a power nap, drift off, meditate, or just speak with a friend.

·      Eat and drink healthy: Everyone knows that being healthy is good for your body, but did you know that some foods and drinks may also affect how you feel mentally? Also, eating things that are low in vitamins like B12 could make you feel depressed, which could make it hard for you to study. The good news is that eating the right foods will help you deal with worry and anxiety and improve your general health.

·    Avoid procrastination: Putting things off only makes things worse and makes you less productive. Tasks are easier to do when they are broken up into smaller pieces that are easier to handle. Set attainable goals and give yourself a prize when you reach them. This method makes people more motivated and reduces the worry that comes with having work to do.
