Met Cup 2022!

Calling all Students and Staff – represent your faculty in a series of sociable sporting competitions throughout term 2 and raise the Met Cup trophy!

Sign up as a faculty team or as an individual – we will fit you into a team with faculty colleagues!

We will be hosting 3 events –

1. February 2nd at the Sugden Sports Centre – Badminton and Volleyball

2. March 9th at Platt Lane Sports Complex – Football and Netball

3. April 6th also at Platt Lane Sports Complex – Rounders and Archery

Faculties will enter teams of both students and staff to represent their faculty.

Teams will receive points for their finishing position.

Bonus 10 points can also be achieved for the following;

  1. Staff member on the team
  2. Head of faculty on the team
  3. Sportsmanship
  4. Fulfilling the amount of teams asked.

There will be a trophy for the winning faculty to have for the year along with small trophies and prizes for each sport for the faculties/students to keep.
