The pages below will provide you with some further information about some of the services we provide including how to access them.
- Student Hub
If you have a question or concern and don’t know who to talk to your Student Hubs are a great place to start. They are the place to go if you have a question about studying at the University and your course, and they can refer you to specialist teams if you need support with things like student finance, study skills, careers advice and your wellbeing
Manchester Met has dedicated Academic and Study Skills tutors – here to help you every step of the way with your studies and offering a wealth of advice on academic writing, numeracy, study tips and technology to support your learning.
The primary focus of the Careers & Employability Service is to enhance your employability skills and employment outcomes on graduating through the provision of a range of services offered directly to you as a student and graduate, and through support for academics to develop student employability within your course.

Our Chaplaincy provides support to students of faith but also of no faith, including spiritual help, confidential advice, prayer and study, and information on local places of worship.
Experiencing some level of stress or loneliness while at university is common. If you do, or if you have a pre-existing mental health condition, it’s important to tell us so we can put support in place.
If you have a disability, long-term medical condition or Specific Learning Difficulty, such as dyslexia, our Disability Support team can help to ensure you’re not disadvantaged in your studies as a result of your condition.

With 6 floors of study space and support 24/7, the library has a lot to offer. You have access to thousands of e-books, journals, books, and so much more. The library has what you need when you need it! You can get 1-2-1 help from librarians or attend the InfoSkills online workshops to help with all your referencing and searching skills.
Studiosity is a service that is only available to Foundation, first year undergraduate and level 7 apprentice students.
We know it can sometimes be hard for new students to adapt from school or college to academic writing at university level. We’ve connected with Studiosity, an external online service accessed via Moodle. Studiosity will review your draft work for coursework-style assessments and give you quick feedback about how to improve your academic writing style.
