Engaging with Rise

Rise offers a mix of flexible opportunities throughout the year, together with more focused activity after the exam period in May (our ‘Third Term’). You’ll earn Rise Points for completing a portfolio;

  • Online Intensives – flexible, short courses which are completely entirely at your own pace.
  • Project Challenges – problems posed by advocates from the city, to which respond independently.
  • Events – one off opportunities to attend workshops or masterclasses
  • Activities – more intensive opportunities to learn a language, skill or even attend a placement or international mobility!
Claiming Credits and Recognition

Once you’ve earned 300 Rise Points, you can claim a recognition on your transcript for your efforts. By writing a reflective account about your experience, you can even claim additional credit which can count towards your classification*.
